(Fort Wayne, Ind.)—The 2006 Do it Best October Market™ celebrated a milestone as the co-op reached $3 billion in sales for the first time and returned a record-setting and industry-leading $122.1 million rebate to its member-owners. Dave Heine, Do it Best Corp. vice president of retail development, said that the Member Purchase Awards & Vendor Recognition Breakfast provides an opportunity for the co-op to show its appreciation for those who serve as an inspiration to their peers. “These members are the cornerstone of our success,” Heine stated. “In their local markets, they have earned their customers’ trust, and we are proud that we have earned their commitment. Everyone at Do it Best Corp. congratulates them on their achievements.”
