Fort Wayne, Ind.— Todd Santee has joined Do it Best Corp. as its Outdoor Living merchandise manager.  In this position Santee assists Do it Best Corp. member-owners in the selection and marketing of outdoor living and trim-a-tree products, evaluates existing and new products, and implements retail service center and drop ship programs.

Santee’s experience includes positions a buyer/merchandise manager in the lawn and garden category with other hardware co-ops, including ServiStar, Ace and True Value.  He most recently served as a buyer for Amberleaves, a lawn and garden web site.

“Todd’s retail experience, combined with his experience in working for hardware co-ops, will be of tremendous benefit to our member-owners,” said Jay Brown, Do it Best Corp. vice president of merchandising. “He will be a great addition to the merchandising team, and we look forward to him taking the outdoor living category to the next level.”
