The Finance division provides services in several areas: accounting, credit, Member insurance, and treasury management. Accounting is segmented into four areas: general accounting, accounts receivables, accounts payable – retail service center orders, direct orders, and claims. Over 35,000 vendor invoices are processed every week by Do it Best Corp. accounting staff. Credit is responsible for reviewing the applications of businesses who apply for Do it Best Corp. membership, establishing credit limits, and assuring member payments are current. Credit also manages the member bankcard program and check guarantee program. The Member Insurance Program is a service through which store owners can purchase property, liability, workers compensation, and health insurance at competitive rates. Treasury management monitors Do it Best Corp. cash investments and repurchases common and preference shares. |
