| Requirements: This position requires a degree in computer science or information technology; demonstrated knowledge and experience using PMBOK standards for project management; strong leadership, team building, problem-solving, analytical and research skills; ability to clearly communicate at the business and technical levels; must be able to prepare business and functional requirements, facilitate the development of the technical requirements, prepare work plans, manage progress against the work plan, identify issues and risks, resolve problems and complete projects on time and within budget. Experience in software development in an IBM mainframe, client/server, and internet based environment is preferred. |
| Responsibilities: This position is responsible for organizing, identifying resource needs from the business and IT areas, planning, coordinating, defining business requirements, functional requirements and assisting in technical requirements for IT projects; managing projects through planning, design, development, implementation, testing, training and project closure; reporting project status, identifying issues and risks and obtaining resolution; and facilitating the project team activities and working to accomplish project goals to deliver the project on time and on budget. May also be involved in contract negotiations with software vendors; performing other job duties and assignments requested by management. |
