| Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, or advertising is preferred. Excellent marketing and business related knowledge and abilities in order to investigate, develop, and implement successful retail marketing programs. Strong negotiating and persuasive skills in order to secure favorable contracts with current and potential vendors. Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop and present effective sales presentations to member-owners, staff, and prospective member-owners. Must also possess strong organizational, strategic skills, and time management skills. Occasional travel to member-owners, vendors, and related events. |
| Responsibilities: This position is responsible for developing, growing, and maintaining retail programs that help member-owners increase sales, brand awareness, and overall profitability. Current retail programs include a customer rewards program, gift card program, credit marketing program, in-store radio, and a mystery shopper program. This position also manages our partnership with Habitat for Humanity International by spurring member involvement with their local Habitat affiliate and helping member-owners create a strong cause branding strategy. |
